After a fun stay in Tennessee, we were westward bound. The next stop was Missouri, and this was the first new sticker for the map on the side of our trailer. We were very excited, but didn't really know what to expect. As it turns out, this would be one of our favorite campgrounds of the whole trip!  Ready for the next leg of the journey.

This is my third time to Massachusetts. Every time I have visited I've wanted to see Plymouth and Salem. Historical stuff always interested me. It's fascinating to actually see the places that you learn about. Unfortunately that can also mean you get your hopes up about how cool they are in reality. Plymouth Rock. It sounds so grand and majestic. You almost picture a cliff with a sunset behind it, Mayflower docked in the water below and a buckled shoe perched majestically on the rock. Oh, that's just me huh? Let's just say that the image in my head didn't quite match up to reality...  |
