quick trip to belfast

Just because we left the island doesn't mean the adventure is over!

We didn't do much on Sunday morning before leaving. Just the typical cleaining of the mess we made so Grandpa wouldn't have to. Once Grandpa got back from church we thanked him for having us and off we went.

On the way home we decided to stop in Belfast and check out the sights. Again, it was typical New England. Nothing but sailboats and fishing wharfs; aka amazing!

We didn't really do to many activities in Belfast besides walk around the boatyard. There was a yacht builder/sales place right where we parked and we got to see some of the huge machinery they use to get the yachts to the water. All the boats were really something to look at.

My favorite part of Belfast was one specific house that was parked right on the dock made out of shipping containers (no yard work!). It was such a creative design and you can't get much more ocean front!

After our walk around the harbor we got back to the car and headed back to the land of traffic: Massachusetts. Of course we grabbed ice cream on the way home at Kimballs...Rose and her moms favorite ice cream place!
